Who are we?

We are a Reformed Baptist Church seeking to reach out with the good news of the gospel to the local community of Ashford. Our congregation includes people from a diverse age range and backgrounds.

If you are interested in joining us please reach out - all are welcome to join us.

What we believe

We hold to the historic Christian beliefs. We believe that salvation from sin is solely through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His death on the cross.

Our services include Bible Readings, hymns, prayers, and preaching. We use the Authorised (King James) version of the Bible. God's word is the only sure foundation on which to build our lives.

Our hymns are taken from 'Psalm and Hymns of Reformed Worship' in the evening, and 'Our own Hymnbook' in the morning.

A more detailed statement of faith can be found in

the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith.

Our Pastor

Trevor and his wife Amy have lived in Ashford for many years along with their five children. Having been raised, educated, and worked in this town, he feels very much at home in the locality.

Trevor has been a Christian for over forty years. He is privileged to serve the community, having worked for many years as a local doctor.

In recent years he has been serving the Lord as the pastor of Ashford Reformed Baptist Church. He has been very encouraged to see a growing, ethnically diverse, congregation of all ages meeting each week for worship and the teaching of God’s Word. He is very grateful to the Lord for the gift of his wife, Amy, who supports him in his work for the Lord. She also is actively serving in our children’s ministries and community outreach.

Dr Trevor Stanley

Since 2016 we have been meeting in Repton Manor Primary School. The number of people meeting with us has increased over the years.

During the Covid-19 restrictions we met online, to get an idea of what the services are usually like check out our YouTube channel.
